Vegetation Band & Brief Commentary

The band of precipitation that covers Southern Ontario and upstate NY also includes NB and portions of Pennsylvania. Isotope levels for both sticks match studies completed on Elm & Maple taken from Southern Ontario / upstate NY. Due to Dutch Elm Disease there are limited isotopic studies in adjacent regions. Further studies would be required on the vegetation in these surrounding regions to better localize potential wood origins.
